Foster Instruments delivers on-site audiometric testing to Ohio manufacturers, fabricators, warehouses, and construction firms. CAOHC-certified technicians arrive with the mobile booth, audiometer, and OSHA-ready paperwork. No employee travel, no facility downtime.
Built for Ohio’s Noise-Exposed Workforce
Ohio’s industrial backbone — automotive plants, steel fabrication, plastics, food processing, machine shops, and warehousing — puts thousands of workers above the OSHA 85 dBA action level every shift. Every one of those workers needs a baseline audiogram within six months of first exposure and an annual audiogram after that. Foster Instruments brings the entire program to your site.
We routinely serve facilities in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Akron, Youngstown, Canton, Springfield, Mansfield, Lima, and Lorain, plus every smaller community in between.

Ohio OSHA Hearing Conservation — Quick Reference
Trigger: Any worker exposed to 85 dBA (8-hr TWA) or more must be enrolled in a Hearing Conservation Program.
Baseline audiogram: Required within 6 months of first exposure (or 12 months if mobile testing is used).
Annual audiogram: Required every 12 months thereafter.
STS: A 10 dB or greater shift in either ear (averaged at 2k/3k/4k Hz) triggers retest, audiologist review, and potential PPE/program changes.
Records: Retained for the duration of the worker’s employment + standard recordkeeping.
Foster handles every step on-site so your Ohio safety team can focus on production.
